So here I am at the airport, waiting for my plane. I tell ya, this is the easy part of today I'm sure of it.
The story goes...
We arrive at DFW, find awesome parking spots, get all my stuff, no problem! RRRRiiight? Wait in line and finally it's my turn to get my tickets, so I bounce up to the desk, passport in hand and dear father by my side (thank goodness). Because, who am I? They have no idea and worse no ticket to Florence for whoever I am. Nows when my heart starts pounding and I get a little sweaty..oh who am I kidding I was sweaty before this! But wait, remember that wonderful dear father of mine by my side (not to mention, blog starter), well SuperDad steps in! And believe me, they found my tickets! So that gets all worked out and it seems I will make it to Florence! Yay! But will my luggage??
To Be Continued...
The much less interesting part of the story.
Now tickets in hand I scurry through security where they find nothing wrong with my computer bag, carry-on and quart-sized ziplock bag jammed full of no larger than 3oz containers of liquid. Now the fun begins. Where do I exchange money? How do I exchange money? And umm..Oh yeah where's my flight?
